To ask the Secretary of State for International Development what action has been taken(a) through bilateral assistance and (b) through co-operation with international agencies working in the region to ensure that armed combatants fleeing Liberia do not destabilise Sierra Leone. [69230]

Effective procedures are already in place to disarm combatants fleeing Liberia, and hand them over to the responsible authorities.
