43WA§ The Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State, Ministry of Defence (Lord Bach)I refer the noble Lord to the Answer I gave him on 21 March 2002,(WA167). The total number of Challenger 2 Main Battle Tanks procured for the British Army is 386. The final delivery took place in April 2002.
A quantity of 38 Challenger 2 Main Battle Tanks were exported to a customer in the Middle East during the mid to late 1990s.
