To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs how many farms in the Scottish Borders receive(a) available support payments and (b) livestock support payments from CAP schemes in excess of £200,000 per year. [66047]

[holding answer 2 July 2002]The payment of Common Agricultural Policy subsidies to farmers is a devolved matter and hence information in relation to such payments to farms in the Scottish Borders is a matter for the Scottish Executive.
