To ask the Secretary of State for Health what recent discussions he has had with the BMA and the British Thoracic Society concerning the number of respiratory specialists needed in the NHS. [27460]

We have not had any recent discussions with the British Medical Association and the British Thoracic Society concerning the number of respiratory specialists needed in the national health service.
