§ Dr. WhiteheadUnder the current formula the amount of green belt has no direct effect on the level of grant an authority receives through the Local Government Finance Settlement. In partnership with the Local Government Association and other local authority organisations we are reviewing the local government finance grant distribution formula. Until this review is concluded it is not possible to say which factors will have an impact on the level of future settlements.
