§ Mr. BercowTo ask the Secretary of State for Education and Skills which schools in the Buckingham constituency have benefited from the Schools Access Initiative; and how much each school was awarded. [24864]
§ John HealeyThe Schools Access Initiative provides resources to make mainstream schools accessible to pupils with disabilities and special educational needs. Over the three year period 2001–02 to 2003–04 we are investing £220 million in the Schools Access Initiative. This is crucial to the Government's commitment to improving educational standards for all children and working towards a more inclusive approach for children with disabilities and special educational needs.
