To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer when the Treasury will commence consultation on the proposed changes to the landfill tax credit scheme; and if he will make a statement. [27665]

The Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA) will shortly be issuing a consultation document on the shape of any replacement scheme and how any transition arrangements could be managed to ensure that worthwhile projects continue to receive funding.
