To ask the Secretary of State for Education and Skills how specialist schools in South Tyneside have performed compared with other schools in South Tyneside. [26039]

As shown in the table the two specialist schools in South Tyneside are performing above the LEA's average in relation to the percentage of pupils achieving five or more GCSEs at grades A* to C.
