Letter from John Kidgell to Mr. Simon Burns, dated 8 January 2002The National Statistician has been asked to reply to your recent question concerning how many men were diagnosed with testicular cancer in (a) 2001, (b) 2000, (c) 1999, (d) 1998 and (e) 1997. I am replying in his absence. (24642) There were 1,411 registrations of newly diagnosed cases of testicular cancer in England in 1997 and 1,541 in 1998. (Source: 1997: Office for National Statistics.
