To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department what plans he has to reintroduce purposeful activity for the inmates of removal centres. [34743]

Persons detained at immigration removal centres are, in line with the requirements of the Detention Centre Rules 2001, provided with opportunities to take part in a wide range of purposeful activity including education, sports, physical education, arts and crafts, drama and library.
