To ask the Secretary of State for Health (1) how many registered practitioners there have been in the constituency of Buckingham in each year since 1997; [23716]

(2) how many (a) general practitioners and (b) registered general practitioners there were in the Buckinghamshire health authority area in each year since 1997; [24856]

(3) how many vacancies there were for general practitioners in the Buckinghamshire health authority area in each year since 1997. [24857]

The information on general practitioner vacancies requested is not available centrally. Information may be obtained from the chairmen of Buckinghamshire health authority and the primary care groups and trusts in the Buckinghamshire health authority area.

The information on the number of practitioners is as follows:
