To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs what research her Department has undertaken on public attitudes towards the UK meeting its Kyoto obligations on renewable energy and the potential change in electricity prices to the consumer; and if she will make a statement on how the cost of electricity for consumers will affect the Government's policy of promoting renewable energy sources.
