§ Mr. JamiesonThe Highways Agency and the Association of Chief Police Officers (ACPO) have recently completed a comprehensive review of police and Agency roles for network operation. The review investigated how greater co-operation could improve the effective operation of the network and the way in which incidents and the effects of incidents could be jointly managed.
Implementation will be carefully managed and carried out in partnership with the police. There will be detailed consultation with internal and external stakeholders.
