To ask the Secretary of State for Wales what the total cost to his Department was of the use of external consultants in each of the last four years. [35019]

Since its creation in July 1999 my Department has spent some £47,000 on external consultants. It has also made use of property management consultants under a contract held by the National Assembly for Wales.
