To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions what plans he has to phase out references to the Department of Social Security(a) on printed materials and (b) on the internet. [11309]

References to the former Department of Social Security are being replaced on printer materials when a reprint becomes due, to avoid unnecessary wastage and costs.

All the Department's internet sites are in the process of being updated with the new corporate identity. Former DSS sites will be maintained for a period of time in order to redirect users to the new site.
