To ask the Secretary of State for Education and Skills if data showing the expenditure per pupil in individual schools(a) are and (b) could practicably be made available centrally to her Department. [18265]

Data are submitted, on an annual basis by Local Education Authorities, to my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State in the form of financial statements under section 52 of the School Standards and Framework Act 1998.
