To ask the Secretary of State for Defence (1) what has been the cost to his Department of providing armed service personnel support to defence equipment demonstrations in the financial years(a) 1999–2000 and (b) 2000–01; [18606]

(2) what were the net operating costs of DESO and related support functions in financial years (a) 1999–2000 and (b) 2000–01. [18607]
