§ Mr. LeslieThe Government Car and Despatch Agency, which is responsible for running ministerial cars, has one electric car on long-term trial and one hybrid petrol/electric powered car on its fleet. Until electric cars with adequate passenger space and mileage range become available, there are no plans to increase the number of electric cars on the fleet.
