To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions if he will estimate the total unallocated funds within his departmental expenditure limit(a) in the start of the financial year and (b) to date. [16764]

At the start of the financial year the Department for Work and Pensions Departmental Expenditure Limit included £322 million awaiting allocation from the Welfare Modernisation Fund and a Departmental Unallocated Provision of £56.088 million. To date there has been no change to these unallocated amounts.
