§ Mr. LeslieMinisters have agreed a new pay system for the senior civil service, developed as part of the Civil Service reform programme. All senior civil servants and their trade unions were consulted and their views taken into account.
The costs of the proposed system will depend on the recommendations of the independent Senior Salaries Review Body and will be met from within existing departmental expenditure limits.
