§ Lord Williams of Mostyn
I am pleased to announce that the Prime Minister has appointed the Rt. Hon. Chris Smith MP as a member of the Committee on Standards in Public Life with effect from 15 October. He is the member nominated by the Labour Party and takes the place of Lord Shore of Stepney, who sadly passed away over the summer.
