§ Ms KellyTo ask the Secretary of State for Education and Employment how many applications there have been for funding from the Work-life Balance Challenge Fund; and how many have been successful, broken down by private, public and voluntary organisations. [160302]
§ Ms HodgeWe received 180 applications for the Work-life Balance Challenge Fund for the year 2000–01, of which 116 were from the public sector, 43 from the private sector and 21 from the voluntary sector. We have been able to support 88 projects, of which 49 are from the public sector, 34 from the private sector and six from the voluntary sector. Currently we are inviting applications for this year's (2001–02) Challenge Fund.
