The Government are today publishing a paper setting out proposals for the future supply and reimbursement of generic medicines for the National Health Service in the community, for discussion with interested parties. We are also today issuing a consultation document on a review of the present statutory maximum price scheme for generic medicines. Copies of the documents have been placed in the Libraries of both Houses. They are also available on the Internet at www.doh.gov uk/generics.
