To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (1) what recent discussions she has had with motor manufacturers regarding recycling of end of life vehicles; [3826]

(2) what plans she has to introduce incentives to assist recycling of end of life vehicles. [3827]

The Government are planning to issue a consultation paper on options to implement the End of Life Vehicles Directive 2000/53/EC in the near future. Views from all parties will be welcomed.
