§ Dr. John ReidThe British and Irish Governments invited representatives of the parties to the Belfast Agreement to participate in the talks at Weston Park held during 8–13 July. The parties invited to send representatives were:
- the Ulster Unionist Party;
- the Social Democratic and Labour Party;
- Sinn Fein;
- the Alliance Party of Northern Ireland;
- the Progressive Unionist Party;
- the Northern Ireland Women's Coalition;
- the Ulster Democratic Party.
