§ Mr. HansonMy right hon. Friend has regular discussions on environmental issues with the First Minister, and I have regular meetings with the Assembly Minister for Transport, Planning and the Environment to discuss a range of environmental matters.
In the vast majority of cases such decisions as they affect Wales are a matter for the National Assembly for Wales, in discussion with the lead Whitehall Department and the Environment Agency where appropriate.
