When the sub-group of the Food Standards Agency, formed to investigate the adequacy of existing measures to prevent bovine tuberculosis entering the human food chain, will report; and when that report will be made public. [HL481]

The Advisory Committee on the Microbiological Safety of Food's Working Group onMycobacterium bovis will hold its first meeting on 28 February. The committee hopes to report to the Food Standards Agency by the summer. We anticipate that the committee's report will be published once it has been considered by the agency. Copies will be placed in the Library.
