To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what the amount of per diem remuneration is of Sir David Hannay. [146605]

Sir David Hannay receives appropriate remuneration commensurate with his expertise, which amounts to £450 per day worked. This is consistent with Treasury guidelines. He works about 20–25 days per quarter.
