Mr. Willis

To ask the Secretary of State for Education and Employment, pursuant to his answer of 7 February 2001,Official Report, column 580W, how many of the fast track applicants were for (a) primary positions and (b) secondary positions; and if he will provide a breakdown of the secondary positions by subject. The total number of fast track applications now stands at 1,574. This includes 13 applications received since my answer of 7 February, which had been delayed in the post. The information requested is set out in the table.
