To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will list by Valuation Office area the number of proposals to alter the 2000 rating list which have yet to be determined and the last date on which the programme is targeted for completion. [155035]

The following schedule depicts by Valuation Office areas, appeals mad in respect of the 2000 Rating Lists and outstanding at 28 February 2001.

Appeals made by 30 September 2000 are programmed to be dealt with by 31 March 2003. Some appeals made since 1 October 2000 to date are also programmed into this period and the remainder are planned to be dealt with in 2003–04.
