asked Her Majesty's Government:

What is the final text of Protocol No. 12 to the European Convention on Human Rights; and when the Protocol will be opened for signature and ratification by the Contracting States to the European Convention. [HL3754]

Copies of the provisional text of Protocol No. 12 to the European Convention on Human Rights will be placed in the Library. The Protocol will be opened for signature on 4 November 2000.
