§ Mr. HuttonThe decision to close the Duchess of Kent military hospital, Catterick was made by the Ministry of Defence following extensive local consultation. Since the closure on 1 July 1999, 13 representations concerning the future provision of treatment for civilian patients have been made to the Secretary of State for Health by hon. Members and by the general public.
