To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department when he intends to publish his draft code of guidance in relation to his Freedom of Information Bill; and if he will make a statement. [116288]

Mr. Mike O'Brien

I expect to be able to make available shortly a working draft of the code of practice for which provision is made at clause 44 of the Freedom of Information Bill.

Copies of the working draft will be placed in the Library.
