To ask the Secretary of State for Education and Employment, pursuant to his answer of 15 February 2000,Official Report, column 470W, on the New Deal, if he will list the number of young people on each of the New Deal options in Shrewsbury and Atcham broken down into (a) employment, (b) full-time education/training, (c) voluntary sector and (d) environment task force; and if he will make a statement. The numbers of young people on each of the New Deal Options in Shrewsbury and Atcham at the end of December were as follows:

I expect many of these to join the 155 young people who have already found work as a result of New Deal in Shrewsbury and Atcham.
