§ Mr. HansonMy right hon. Friend and I have regular discussions with the First Secretary about a range of UK Government policies including the Working Families Tax Credit (WFTC).
Progress with the implementation of WFTC has been very encouraging. At the end of April, it is estimated that 62,000 families in Wales were receiving WFTC—12,000 more than were receiving Family Credit at its peak.
