§ Angela EagleThe Burns Report (The Final Report of the Committee of Inquiry into Hunting with Dogs in England and Wales) investigated the effects of banning hunting on employment. Its finding was that, in view of all the uncertainties, it is not possible to give a precise figure for the number of jobs that would be lost if hunting were banned. Consequently, it is not possible to estimate accurately the effects on Social Security expenditure.
