§ Mr. HainWe receive information from a wide range of sources on human rights abuses worldwide including instances of religious persecution, discrimination and violence. Over the past year we have received reports of abuse of freedom of belief in the following countries
Pakistan, India, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Egypt, China, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Nepal and the Russian Federation.We urge all states to implement laws and practices which foster tolerance and mutual respect and to protect religious minorities against discrimination and intimidation.
