To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions if he will make a statement on the work and progress of the Architects Registration Board. [106876]

The Architects Registration Board came into being in April 1997 and has made good progress since its inception.

I look forward to the election of new registered architect members and the appointment by the Board of a new Registrar/Chief Executive.
