§ Mr. StrawTables containing the information requested on the number of ill health retirements for civilian and non-civilian employees from each Police Authority during the past four years have been placed in the Library.
The Police Pension Scheme is administered locally by individual police authorities. The costs of ill health retirements are not held centrally and could be obtained only at disproportionate cost.
