§ Ms QuinProvisional figures for the first nine months of 1999 show that there were 648 confirmed new cases of TB in cattle in Great Britain, mostly in the west and south-west of England, compared with 565 in the same period in 1998. That is why the Government are pressing ahead with their TB control strategy, based on independent scientific advice.
