§ Mr. Gordon BrownHer Majesty The Queen has been graciously pleased to approve my recommendation that a crown piece should be issued this year in celebration of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother achieving her hundredth year. Collector versions of the coin will be available from early in the new year and the coin will also be available, later in the year, from banks and post offices at its face value of £5.
