My right honourable friend the Home Secretary has today laid before Parliament the draft code of practice for the audio recording of interviews. It is the intention of my right honourable friend the Home Secretary to lay the remaining two UK-wide draft codes of practice, relating to the functions of Examining Officers and Authorised Officers, early in the New Year.
