§ Mr. Ian McCartneyThe Good Friday Agreement established a British-Irish Inter-governmental Conference to promote bilateral co-operation. Progress was reviewed at the BIIGC Summit on 17 December 1999, after which a communiquéas issued. Officials have maintained contact with the Taoiseach's Office to review progress since.
