§ Ms Glenda JacksonTo ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will issue guidance to entry clearance officers to ensure that visa applicants who do not clarify that the principal intention of their visit is to spend time with a family member can still be eligible for a right of appeal. [141734]
§ Mrs. RocheIt is for the applicant to make clear either on the application form or at interview that they intend to visit a family member in the United Kingdom.
