§ Mr. HuttonOver the period 3 July 1992 to 29 March 1996, a weekly survey was carried out to see how many patients were being de-registered because their dentist was dissatisfied with the remuneration system. The results have been placed in the Library. The survey was ended after 1996 when registration stabilised. At the end of February 2000, 23.5 million people were registered with a GDS dentist, virtually the same as in February 1999, 23.6 million.
