The Solicitor-GeneralThe number of sentences referred to the Court of Appeal in cases which concerned either causing death by dangerous driving or causing death by careless driving while under the influence of drink or drugs is as follows:
- 1995—five sentences;
- 1996—11 sentences;
- 1997—one sentence;
- 1998—five sentences;
- 1999—three sentences.
