§ Mr. Paul MurphyMy Department is not responsible for any computer systems, which deliver public services. My Department's internal computer systems form part of a larger network, which also serves the National Assembly for Wales. A full inventory of every PC on this network has been undertaken, and progress is well advanced.
I understand that contingency plans are in place and I am not aware of any slippage since the July quarterly report in the House. The National Assembly for Wales is responsible for millennium preparations in Wales, and Mrs. Edwina Hart made a statement to the Assembly on 23 September regarding this matter.
