HC Deb 25 November 1999 vol 339 c165W
Mrs. Dunwoody

To ask the Prime Minister when he expects to lay the Intelligence and Security Committee's Annual report before Parliament. [99858]

The Prime Minister

I am grateful to the Intelligence and Security Committee for their valuable work and their latest annual report. Following consultation with them over matters which could not be published without prejudicing the continuing operation of the intelligence and security agencies, I have today laid the report before Parliament. Copies of the report have also been placed in the Libraries of both Houses.

The Government will respond formally to the report shortly.
