§ Mr. DenhamThere are five tissue banks which store skin in England and there has been no shortage of supply in recent years: in both 1997 and 1998 there was an excess of donated skin over that donated for therapeutic purposes.
A National Burn Care Review is currently under way and is looking, among other issues, at considering skin banking and supply.
