To ask the Secretary of State for Education and Employment if he will list the(a) planned and (b) actual education expenditure by (a) central and (b) local government for 1996–97, 1997–98 and 1998–99, indicating the change for each year compared with the previous year in (i) cash and (ii) real terms.
